The Art
of Systems.
I am an artist who has learned to work with systems as a medium.
Healthcare. Voice AI. Government. Legacy. Whatever the canvas —
the mind works the same way.
In His Own Words
“I have an overactive imagination. But I’ve learned to take those far-flung, alien ideas and harness the right energies, technologies, and processes to turn them into practical solutions for the real world. I work hard to dissolve bias and predetermined judgment — to start with a clean slate and let expertise drive the trajectory. Rather than being weighted down by inference and past experience.”
There’s a word people reach for when they try to describe how I think. They say alien. I take that as the highest compliment.
It means I’m not constrained by the mental architecture of the room I’m in — not weighed down by accumulated assumptions, prior approaches, or unspoken ceilings that define what’s “possible.” I start from a clean slate. I let the problem itself define the solution. Then I build it.
My career began the way most clinicians’ careers do — hands on patients, mind on outcomes, every day a new diagnostic puzzle. Twenty-six years ago I walked out of Northeastern University as a physical therapist and onto the musculoskeletal and trauma unit at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. I was good at the clinical work. But I was always watching the systems around it — the workflows, the inefficiencies, the gaps between what was happening and what could be happening if someone just looked at it differently.
“Colin is viewed as an innovative, collaborative, and values-driven leader who consistently delivers impact through creativity and strategic thinking.”
— Manager Performance Review · CenterWell Home Health · Humana
That instinct pulled me out of the clinic and into operations, then strategy. Eleven years at CenterWell Home Health — four roles, progressively larger in scope — culminating in enterprise-level work that touched national programs, regulatory transformation, and a eight-figure cost reduction initiative built from the ground up. I didn’t arrive at that work by following a conventional path. I arrived because I kept asking questions no one else was asking, and then stayed to build the answers.
In 2023, I walked into Voice AI the same way I walk into everything — curious, unburdened by what everyone else was doing, entirely self-taught. The field was in its infancy. I saw the frameworks early and recognized something immediately: this is a medium for a writer, a character builder, a poet. The technical architecture matters — but what separates a remarkable agent from a forgettable one is craft. The ability to write intention, personality, and humanity into something that has none by default. Three proprietary methodologies later, I build agents people don’t recognize as agents. That’s the goal. That’s the art.
Today I consult independently across healthcare, government, hospitality, and one category that doesn’t have a clean name yet — life legacy preservation. Helping families and estates build AI characters that carry a person’s voice, stories, and presence forward in time. It sits at the farthest edge of technology and humanity, which is exactly where I’m most comfortable.

The Frontier
Voice AI. Six startups. Three proprietary methodologies. Agents that don't sound like agents. Characters built to outlive their creators. The art of systems — finally given its full canvas.
2023 – Present
Healthcare
Enterprise Transformation Programs
National-scale clinical and operational initiatives. Governance frameworks where none existed. Programs that outlast the person who built them.

Conversational Agents That Feel Human
Intake agents. Constituent services. Guest experiences. Patient communication. Built with craft — using three proprietary methodologies developed through real-world field deployments.
Innovation
Workforce Intelligence Systems
Tools that compress the gap between information and action. Real-time visibility. Automated escalation. Operational insight that changes how a team behaves tomorrow morning.
